How to integrate the Related Products App on your KartRocket Store
This application displays related products to the customer to encourage cross-selling. Related products can be added manually in the back end.
STEPS TO INTEGRATE WITH YOUR STORE
1. Log in with the username and password details and your dashboard would open. See Below for reference.
2. Click on Apps on the extreme left hand side
3. Go to the search bar on the top right side and search for ‘Related’
4. You will see the ‘Related Products’ Application below. Click on the green ‘install’ button to install the app
5. The page will refresh and the install button will change to a ‘settings’ button
6. Now, this is the step of adding related products to any desired product manually Go to ‘catalogue’ and then click on ‘manage products’
7. You will see the ‘Products’ page. Edit the product you want to add related products to
8. You will see the page below. Click on ‘Advance’ tab
9. On clicking on ‘Advance’ tab go to ‘related Products’ and click on it
10. On clicking ‘related products’ you will see the below screen. Here we have added the related products to our product which we are editing. Add the desired products and click on ‘save’
11. On clicking on ‘save’ you will get a success notification
12. Now, go back to the ‘Related Products’ App and click on ‘settings’ (refer step no 5). On clicking on settings you will see empty fields of limit, image,layout, position, status and sort order. Please fill up these fields as per your requirement and then click on ‘save’
In the example below, we have added:
- Limit: max no of products in related products to be shown has been put 5
- Image dimensions: 80 *80 (width * height)
- Layout: Page where you want the app to display
- Position: Content top, content bottom, Column left, Column right
- Status:Enabled/ Disabled
- Sort Order: Set the priority from top to bottom. Enter values in no from 1 to 10 keeping in mind of the apps active on a particular layout
13. You will get a Success Notification!
