How to Add Categories to your KartRocket Store using the Category Links App
This is an In House Application. It Displays all categories on the left/ right of any web page
STEPS TO INTEGRATE WITH YOUR STORE
- Open your store on Kartrocket panel , log in with the username and password details and your dashboard would open. See Below for reference.
2. Click on Apps on the right hand side. This will show a list of apps in the app store opening sales applications. See below for reference
3. Now, go to the search bar on top right corner and search for ‘Category’
4.You will see the ‘Category Links’ App displayed on the screen. Click on the green ‘Install’ button to install the application
5. The page will refresh and the ‘install’ button would change to a ‘Settings’ button
6. Click on Settings button. On clicking you will come to the page shown below
7. Click on the blue add button to add
8. Fill up the details as per your requirement and then click on save button.
- Layout- refers to which page you want the app to display
- Position refers to the location. E.g. Content top, content bottom, column left, column right
- Product Count- refers to the no of products for each category. It’s displayed right next to each category. You can enable or disable this.
- Status- enable/disable
- Sort Order of the app display from top to bottom based on priority
Here, we have entered home page in the layout section, position we have chosen to be column left, disabled the product count, status is enabled and sort order 1. See below for reference

- After clicking on save. You get the success message that you have modified Category links menu! Please refer below
2. Now view your store on Kartrocket panel. See the example below
