How To Integrate Tag Cloud App with your KartRocket Store

The Tag Cloud App automatically generates word cloud and places them in the position and page of your choice on your online store.
What it means
A tag cloud (word cloud or weighted list in visual design) is a visual representation for text data, typically used to depict keyword metadata (tags) on websites, or to visualize free form text
Tags are usually single words (keyword that is associated with a piece of information) and the importance of each tag is shown with font size or color. This format is useful for quickly perceiving the most prominent terms and for locating a term alphabetically to determine its relative prominence. When used as website navigation aids, the terms are hyperlinked to items associated with the tag.

STEPS TO INTEGRATE WITH YOUR STORE
Before you start integrating your store with the Tag Cloud app, you need to decide what tags you want to put to your products and then add the same in the Kartrocket panel. See below for reference
1.Log in with the username and password details and your dashboard would open. See Below for reference.

 

2. Go to ‘Catalogues’ on the right hand side and then click on ‘ Manage Products’



3.Edit the product to which you want to add the Tag. See below for reference



4.Click on ‘Advance’ tab on top left side under Products. Scroll Down to reach ‘Product Tags’ Field



5.In the ‘Product Tag’ field add the tags you want. E.g. Here, we have added ‘Formal Suits’ and ‘Classy’ and then click on ‘save’. See below for reference



6. You will now get a success Notification that you have modified the product



7.The same way you can add Tags to other products as well. E.g. we have added ‘Formal trousers’ , ‘comfortable’ tags to other products

8.Now, go to ‘Apps’ on the right hand side and click on it



9.Go to the Search bar on the top right side and search for ‘Tag Cloud’



10. Click on the green ‘install’ the button to install the app

 


11.The page will refresh and the install button would change to a ‘settings’ button



12.Click on the settings button . You will see the Tag cloud functionality screen. Enter the fields below and click on ‘save’


It consists of the following fields:

a) Custom Title: The title that you want to give. If you leave it ‘empty’ and show header is set to ‘yes’ variable from the language will be shown. i.e. Tag Cloud
b) Show Header: If you want to show header
c) Show Icon: If you want to show the icon
d) Show Box: A box in which the tag cloud can be enclosed
e) Layout: Page on the store where you want it to display
f) Limit: Limit to the no of Product Tags
g) Min and Max size: this is of the tags (in pixel)
h) Font weight: To set the thickness of the font
i) Position: Content top, content bottom, column left, column right
j) Status: Enabled/ disabled
k) Sort Order: Set Priority from top to bottom by assigning a no


13.After clicking on ‘save’ you will get a success notification message. See below for reference

1. This is the ‘Tag Cloud’ on live store with our product tags



2.When you click on ‘product tags’ you will see the below page. E.g here, we clicked on ‘formal suits’
