How To Integrate VisitorEngage App with your KartRocket Store

A marketing tool for online businesses to engage with their visitors by collecting feedback, running surveys and push notifications on the website based on the user’s behavior.
It is a very useful tool as the market for ‘feedback’ and ‘customer engagement’ is growing tremendously.
Visitor Engage has been found by Jagan Ganti, along with his close friend Satish Kanisetti. Earlier Jagan had been a product marketer at Click Desk for 2 years before bootstrapping VisitorEngage

SIGN UP/ REGISTRATION PROCESS ON VISTOR ENGAGE 

1.Go to VisitorEngage.com & Click on the blue sign up button


 

2.Enter a username, email and password & Click on Register

 

3.An email is sent to your registered emailid

 

4.Log into the email you used to sign up & Open the verification email sent by VisitorEngage & Click on the ‘Confirm My Email Address’ button
  

 

5.Log into your visitor engage account with the registered emailed and password

 

6.You would have also received an email from visitor engage on your registered email ID, on how to get started with the app. See the email snapshot
below:


 

STEPS TO INTEGRATE

1.Enter your Kartrocket store URL in the box for domain & Select the time zone that you want Also, Enter the email id that you want communications to go out from . Enter the name that you want the emails to go out from, this could be your store name. click on ‘Save’


  

 

2.Go to Overview option on the left hand size, click on it and then click on install code button. This is the dashboard of visitor Engage. It shows the report of notification impressions, CTA for notifications, details of the feedback responses with name, email and feedback message




3.You will see the code on clicking the button, now copy only this short code shown below, which is before <script>

4.Paste it to the visitor engage app on the store panel like below

 

OUTPUT ON LIVE STORE

Feedback Button and Form

1.Go to your dashboard and click on Feedback module tab and customize your feedback button in terms of positioning, text, text color and button color. See below snapshot for creating a feedback button on your store


  

 2.See the Blue colored feedback button on the left hand side of the store page 



3.Click on the Feedback form module tab and create a feedback form on your store


 

4.Now, on your live store click on feedback button and you see a feedback form as shown below in the snapshot



5.Fill the details and click on submit



  6.You can see a thank you for your feedback message and a close button 


 

You can change the Feedback message as per you want. This can be done on the dashboard by clicking on Feedback module tab. Scrolling down and editing the Success Message. See below screenshot for reference


 

Push Notifications
What is a Push Notification?
Push notification is a custom message (can be an offer or coupon code) displayed on your online shop with an optional CTA (call to action) button text & URL. You can run these notifications on any product/page of your store without any coding knowledge. One-time setup.
1.Click on Notifications on the left hand side of the dashboard. This will show different types of notifications one can create.



2.Following are the notification types:
a)BAR with CTA: creates a top or bottom bar notification with CTA button( E.g. Click Now)
b)Bar with subscription Field: creates top or bottom bar notification with email/phone no fields to build lists and reveal a success message



c)BOX with CTA: create a bottom left/right widget with title, content and call to action button. E.g.



d)Box with subscription field: create a bottom left/right widget with email/phone no fields to build lists and reveal a success message
e)Modal Pop up : Show a pop up in the center page notification with content, images and CTA Button
f)Modal Pop up with subscription: Show a pop up in the center of the page with title , content and email/phone no field
3.Click on ‘Bar with CTA’ green create button

 


4.You will see a new notification. Fill in the fields below and then click on save
a)Name- Name of your notification
b)Notification period (start to end)
c)Position (top, bottom)
d)CTA(Call to action) Button Text e.g. Sign Up Now
e)CTA Button URL e.g. https://login.skype.com/join



5.Click on ‘Theme’ module tab above and customize the background color, button color and button text color. Also, write a notification content e.g. free 30 day trial, take a tour, request a demo, register now and click on ‘save’


6.Click on ‘Rules’ module tab to set notification rules- visitor rules and custom rules that you want to create. Here we have selected frequency once per day for all visitors( First and returning). After setting the rules click on ‘save’


7.Click on ‘settings’ module tab to do the settings for notification. After selecting click on ‘save’. See below for reference



8.This will save your notification and you will see the screen below. Please Note free shipping notification is another notification which was created just like free trial



9.Click on the blue ‘ edit this notification’ to edit notifications. See below for reference
