How to use Restricted Payment Methods App
This app allows you restrict ANY payment method by applying business rules on order criteria, cart criteria, categories, manufacturers and products.
1. Go to Apps in top navigation
2. Search for the "Restricted Payment Methods" App
3. Turn the toggle on
4. Click on Settings
5. Now you need to enable this App as well as configure it for each payment method.
a. Payment Methods
For this example, we will pick COD as the payment method.
b. Order Criteria
Here you can pick rules and filters for the order, that will enable the payment method chosen in first step
Here you can choose currencies, customer groups, geo zones and shipping methods.
c. Cart Criteria
Here you can choose values in the cart that will be matched before the payment method selected will be allowed. For example, below we are restricting the COD method to a minimum order total value of Rs. 0 to Rs. 3000 maximum. You can build other such criteria also.
Note: you can also enter PIN CODE series in the app section above and COD will only work on those pin code series.
d. Categories, Manufacturers and Products
You can pick categories, manufacturers or products where you want to display the particular payment method or you can pick ANY to allow for all as in the following example.
