How To Integrate Google Product Feed app to your KartRocket Store

GOOGLE PRODUCTS FEED
Integrate your store with Google Merchant Portal and list your products on the most popular search engine, Google.The products are listed in Google Shopping.


STEPS TO INTEGRATE WITH YOUR STORE

1.Log in with the username and password details and your dashboard would open. See Below for reference.

 

2.Click on Apps on the extreme left hand side

 

3.Go to the top bar tab ‘Get Traffic’ and click on it.



4.You will see the following page



5.Go to ‘Google Products Feed’ app



6.Click on the green ‘install’ button to install the app


7.The page will refresh and the app will be installed with a ‘setting’ button now



8.Click on the green ‘setting’ button


9.The following page will appear



•Change the Status to ‘Enable’



•Feed Limit: Assign a limit to your feed
•Data feed URL: This is the URL in XML format for your Data Feed. This is Auto-generated

Please Note: Data feed is a file that contains all the information about the products you sell. The product information you submit (such as price, condition and title) will allow customers to search for and discover your items

10.Copy this data feed URL and note it somewhere as this needs to be pastedthe Google Merchant Center Dashboard ‘feed’



11.Click on ‘Save’


12.You will get a Success Notification!




13.Go to https://www.google.co.in/merchants/Signup and configure your account with the following information

a.Select the country where your business is based




b.Enter the Name of your Store



c.Enter the URL of your website



d.Enter the Contact Details

 


e.Click on ‘Continue’



 

14.The following ‘Terms & Conditions’ page will appear. Please check, ‘Yes, I agree to the above terms & conditions’



15.Click on ‘Finish’

 

16.The following page will appear


 

17.Click on ‘Fix it’



18. You will see the following Page




Please Note: Your Website is not verified. You need to verify your website. Only the product listings submitted for verified URLs will be processed successfully.

19.To verify your website, click on ‘Verify your website in Webmaster Tools



20.You will see the following page

Please Note: Here we have taken example of another webstore (saahil.kartrocket.co) to show the verification process



21.Click on ‘Alternate methods’ and you will see the Webmaster Central screen below



22.Check ‘HTML Tag’



23.Copy the meta tag i.e.
<meta name=”google-site-verification”content=”hNiHa7wPxQw9CFxN1KCJwHmd6dLrOyORmRucPV9OPsY”/>



24.Now, Go back to the KartRocket Panel and go to Apps



25.Search for ‘Fila Manager’ app on the search bar for ‘VQCODE’




26.The VQ code App will be displayed below


 

27.Install the app by clicking on ‘install’



28.The page will refresh and the install would change to a setting button




29.Click on the ‘setting’



30.The following screen will appear



31.Choose position as ‘header’ and paste the meta tag which you copied in step no 23. See the meta tag below. After entering the details, click on ‘save’

32.You will get a success Notification!


 

33.Go back to the webmaster central , click on ‘verify’ and the following screen will appear



34.Again Go back to Google Merchant Center webpage. Your account is verified



35.The next step is to submit the data feed to Google Merchant Center. In the Google Merchant center dashboard go to ‘Feeds’



36.You will see the following screen



37.Click on ‘data feed’ button



38.Fill up the fields as per your requirement and click on ‘continue’



39.Choose ‘Automatic upload’ and click on continue button



40.You will see the webpage where you need to enter some details and finally ‘paste your data feed URL’
a.Name of the file you will upload



b.Fetch frequency: Daily, Monthly, weekly



c.Fetch Time



d.Paste the feed URL



e.Click on ‘save’



41.You will see the below screen



42.Now click on your Data feed. Here, it is ‘Fashion’ . You will see the below screen



43.Click on ‘Fetch Now’



44.You will see the following screen showing ‘Processing’ status



45.Click on ‘Products’ on the left hand side of the dashboard



46.You will see the following screen



47.You will get a mail from Google giving you info about the details of the data feed


 

CREATING A PRODUCTS LISTING AD CAMPAIGN

By linking your Google AdWords and Merchant Center accounts, you will be able to surface your products directly in your Product Listing Ads

In order to display Product Listing Ads, you'll have to link your Google AdWords and Google Merchant Center accounts. You can add multiple AdWords accounts to a single Google Merchant Center account. Please be sure to link accounts in both Merchant Center and AdWords to complete the process.

Linking Accounts in Google Merchant Center

1.In your Merchant Center account, click Settings , then Adwords



2.If you already have an AdWords account on the same Google Account you're using to access Merchant Center, you'll see a button to Link the account.



3.If you would like to link a different AdWords account, click Link another account, enter your AdWords customer ID, and save.



4.Here, we will click on ‘Link Account’



5.The following screen will appear , changing the Link Status to ‘Active’

 



After linking your Merchant Center account to your AdWords account, follow the instructions below to get started with Shopping campaigns for your Product Listing Ads
Set up Shopping campaigns for Product Listing Ads
With Shopping campaigns, you can promote your products using Product Listing Ads, (an ad format that includes an image, title, price, your business name, and more)
You can create a Shopping campaign once you've submitted your product inventory to Google Merchant Center. Merchant Center holds your product information, and the Shopping campaign in Adwords lets you serve detailed ads for those products.
Shopping campaigns also allow you to target your ads to specific users, set bids, and improve performance with optimization tools
Note: Product listing ads only appear on Google search in India and not on Google Shopping
Promote your Products with a Shopping Campaign

1.Go to your Adwords Account and click the ‘campaigns’ tab



2.Click on ‘Create your first Campaign’ or Add (+) Campaign if it isn’t your first campiagn



3.Campaign – search network with display selected



4.Give Campaign a Name



5.Choose ‘Shopping’ under type



6.Product listing Ads settings have been uploaded



7.Next, scroll down and come to the bid strategy. Choose the manual or auto mated bid options, according to your requirement. Set the default bids for your product groups. You can adjust bids for individual products later



8.Next, set the daily campaign budget



9.Click on ‘save and continue’



10.On this page you can choose to add promotional text . This is where you can include information such as free shipping.

 


11.Click on set up billing later. You will now , land on ‘Product Groups’ tab. You will see an ‘All Products’ group with all your products and default feed


 

And that’s it! You just created a Shopping Campaign. You are now advertising your products on Google.com. Overtime, your performance , impressions , click and costs will populate here as well
