A gift certificate is a restricted monetary equivalent that is issued by you to be used as an alternative to a non-monetary gift. Every gift certificate has a unique code that customer has to enter at the time of making payment.
You can offer some amount of gift certificate to your customer on the time of their first purchase so that they come back to your website to redeem the offered voucher by you. Gift certificate don’t have any validity date as it automatically expires after use.
Steps to be follow to create a Gift Certificate…
- Click on Gift Certificates>Create Certificates.
- Enter the voucher code, please make sure it should be unique among the active vouchers.
- Fill the other details such as from name, from e-mail, to name and to e-mail.
- Select the voucher theme and then type the message, you want to send to the customer.
- Define the voucher amount and click on Save button.
- Now, click on the SEND button of the respective voucher to deliver it to the customer.
