SIGN UP AND INTEGRATION PROCESS

1.Go to https://www.olark.com/signup/create_new_account/ and register. Enter your name, email ID, username , password

 

2.Click on ‘Continue’

3.You will get to the below page


4.Copy your Site ID and keep it


5.Now, Log in with the username and password details and your dashboard would open. See Below for reference

 

6.Click on Apps on the extreme left hand side

 


7.Go to the search bar on the top right side and search for the app

 

8.You will see the app displayed below

 

 

9.Click on the green ‘install’ button to install the app

 

10.The page will refresh and the install button will change to a setting button

 

11. Click on the ‘setting’ button

 

12. You will get to the page below


13.Paste your Site Id which you had copied in step no 4 and paste it here


14.Click on ‘save’

 

15.You will get a Success Notification!

1. View your Store and you will see a minimized ‘Contact us!’ chat window

CUSTOMIZING CHAT BOX

1.Now, Go back to the Olark Dashboard and click on ‘I’m Done’. You will get to the below page


2.Click on ‘customize your chatbox’. You will get to the below page

 


3.Here, you have to the option to choose the theme you like, change the top bar color, top bar text color, operator name text color, button color , button text color

4.Customize Olark Box size and location

5.After the changed settings you can click on ‘save’ button

 

6.After that you will get a Success Notification

 


7.You can also customize the ‘Behavior & Text’. That is if you want to do changes in Online , Offline messages, visitor info and more

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8.After doing the changes , click on ‘save’


9.You will get the below message

 

 

OUTPUT ON LIVE STORE


1. View your Store

 


2. Click on ‘Contact us’


3. The visitor will input his name, email ID and message

 

4. After clicking on ‘send’ the chat box appears the way shown below

5. Now, if you want to start chatting , refer the below screen shot and click on Chat Now!


6. After clicking on ‘chat now’ you will be taken to the page below

7. Hence, Chatbox when you are Online


8. ChatBox when the operator is chatting


9. Info of the Visitor on store who is chatting
