How To Integrate Weight Based Shipping app to your KartRocket Store
This app lets you Assign different shipping fees to orders based on the weight of products in the cart.
STEPS TO INTEGRATE WITH YOUR STORE
Before the actual Integration to your KartRocket store you need to add Geo Zones. For this you need to create them. Follow below steps for creating Geo Zones:
1.Go to ‘Settings’ on the extreme left side and click on it2.Next, click on ‘Localization’
3.Next, the following page will appear. Go to ‘Geo Zones’ and click on it4.Next, you will see the ‘Geo Zones’ Page. Click on ‘Add’ to add Geo Zones
5.Further, enter Geo Zone name and description
6.Choose your Country from the drop down and zone
7.Click on ‘Save’
8.After saving the geo zone you created you will see the geo zone listed as below
9.Similarly you can add more geo zones
Congrats! You have successfully created Geo Zones!
Next, follow the steps to integrate the app to your KartRocket Store
1.Now, Log in with the username and password details and your dashboard would open. See Below for reference
2.Click on Apps on the extreme left hand side
3.Go to the search bar on the top right side and search for the app4.The app will be displayed below. Click on the green ‘Install’ button to install the app
5.The page will refresh and the install will change to a ‘setting’ button. Click on the ‘setting’ button
6.The following page will appear listing all the geo zones created . The ‘General ‘ tab will be open. Do the settings for this. Select a Tax class if you want to add tax on top of the shipping charges as well, this can be service tax, VAT anything that you have created. Change the status to ‘enable’ and assign sort order to it
7.Go to ‘All India’ tab and add shipping rates corresponding to respective weights in (Kg) . The format is Weight:Cost,Weight:Cost, etc..
8.Next, add shipping rates for all UAE delivery
9.Also, do it for ‘All Uk Delivery’10.After completing the settings of all the geo zones created, you can click on ‘save’
11.You will get a Success Notification!
OUTPUT ON LIVE STORE
1.Below is the Checkout page. See below for the shipping rates as per the weight assigned2.Click on ‘Continue’
