Setting up the basics for your KartRocket store....
1. Setup your logo
a. Go to Store Design > Logo Tab > Upload Logo
2. Pick a template
a. Go to Store Design > Template and Pick One
Note: when you pick a new template all module settings and template settings will restore to those as per the demo template, so please be careful while doing this on a running store. In trial, you can experiment all you want!
3. Store Settings
Your store name, SEO Keywords, address, phone, etc. can be set in the Settings > Store tab.
a. Head to the settings tab - this is the "under the bonnet" of your store. Here you will be able to setup most underlying aspects of your store including details and business rules.
b. In the General Settings tab, you can set things like Stock Checkout, Out of Stock Warning, Guest Checkout, Login Required to Display Prices, Affiliate Commission, Display Stock, etc.
c. In the demographics tab, you can setup the region, country, currency, language, length and weight class
4. Payment Details
Here you can pick which payment gateways you want to enable or disable. Note: you can also access this section from your App Store.
To access payment settings, go to Settings > Payments
5. Shipping
In this tab you can access shipping related settings - again the same are accessible from the App Store as well
6. SellRocket
In the SellRocket Tab you can access various product feeds which can help with boosting your store sales and marketing.
7. Localization
In the localization tab, you can setup languages, currencies, countries, zones and geo-zones. Geo-zones are unique because they let you create grouping of zones (which could be a state or could be a country) and then apply rules on them - such as enable or disable a payment method, enable or disable a shipping method or apply shipping fees based on weight ranges and based on geo-zones.
8. Order Totals
In the order totals tab, you can define which elements make up parts of your order - e.g., you can add a Transaction Fees to COD orders here. You can add or remove handling fees if any. You can define whether or not you want to allow Gift Vouchers, Taxes, etc. as part of your order totals.
